Accessories that complete your system

A small selection of the accessory products we typically install alongside gate automation — from remotes and intercoms to safety edges, sensors and off-grid solar packages.

What we install

Add convenience, access and safety

Every one of these can be specified with a new installation or added to an existing system. We’ll advise on what your gate actually needs.

Remotes & Receivers

FAAC, Genius and CAME remotes with a range of approximately 50 metres. Memory modules let you add extra remotes, and systems can be paired with other motors via external receivers.

GSM Switch

Opens the gate via a phone call or text and supports up to 1,000 numbers, programmable by SMS. Requires a 4G/2G SIM (O2 or similar) and a phone signal at the gate.

Gate Activation Doorbell

Sounds an internal chime each time the gate opens. Runs from a 240V transformer with a range of up to 300 metres.

Vehicle Presence Sensors

Two types: pulse sensors that trigger the gate open, and continuous sensors that hold the gate open while a vehicle is over the loop. A saw cut is needed for loops in tarmac, and the sensor can be disabled at night.

Safety Edges

Required on solid gates to prevent crushing. We install resistive safety edges that comply with BS EN 12453 and connect to the control panel.

Push Buttons & Photocells

Push buttons provide pedestrian access and can be disabled on a timer. Photocell pairs use infrared beams to stop gates closing on vehicles.

Solar Systems

Off-grid electric gate packages with a controller, two batteries and solar panels. The system requires bright sunlight and annual battery replacement.

Looking for an intercom?

We fit a full range of audio and video intercoms — GSM, hard-wired and IP — so you can see and speak to visitors before opening the gate.

Book a site visit & consultation

Every project starts with a site visit and risk assessment, so we can recommend exactly the right system for your gate. Tell us what you have in mind — we’re happy to help.
