Boyson Doors will service the systems we installed, and may repair other systems where they meet current standards. We recommend annual servicing for longevity, and perform a risk assessment to ensure your gate complies with BS EN 12453.
Manual release mechanisms should be tested each year so you can always open the gate during a power cut — we’ll demonstrate exactly how yours works.

Our typical lead time for repairs is 3–4 weeks due to a busy schedule. Please get in touch early so we can book you in.

During a power cut
Releasing your gate manually
Step-by-step guidance for manually releasing common motors. We can order new release levers if yours has been lost.
FAAC 390 articulated arm
Lift the lid on top of the motor and turn the release lever clockwise.
FAAC 770N underground motor
Lift the ground cover plate, insert the release key and rotate it to disengage the drive. We can order new release levers if yours is lost.
